A free hanging stained glass kite, in the roof of Leifur Eriksson International Airport, Keflavik, Iceland. It depicts a modern interpretation of the Icarus myth by Leifur Breidfjord.

Leifur Breidfjord is an Icelandic stained glass artist of international renown. Designed to harmonize with the frame structure of the architecture, this is one of two panels. Opal and opaque glass are used in contrast with transparent glass in the panel measuring 9.7 meters by 4.9 meters. The works were commissioned in 1987 for the new airport terminal.
